REASON FOR WINNING:-

The Taj Mahal is a unique, massive, impressive architectural accomplishment of it's time, 55 meters high. The Statue of Liberty could fit inside it easily (46m).
It is considered by many who have seen it to be the most beautiful building ever built. The date of its completion plus the reason for its existence, add to the wondrous nature of the structure.
The building of the Taj Mahal was ordered by Moghul ruler Shah Jahan to commemorate the memory of his late favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The project required the labor of over 22,000 workers and 1000 elephant's, including many fine artists and architects. It was begun in 1632, and completion of the entire complex took about 22 years.
At last, the main reason of winning was the support for TAJ MAHAL by its own country people. A lots of thanks to the people who supported TAJ MAHAL by voting that made India famous world wide with this incredible monument. PROUD TO BE INDIAN.

INDIA'S 3rd COUNTRY IN SUPER COMPUTER

INDIA is one of the 3 countries that makes SUPER COMPUTER other two are Japan and China.
PARAM

India's first Super Computer was named PARAM by designed and assembled by the "Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC)" in Pune. Now PARAM YUVA is the latest machine of PARAM series.
EKA

Then in the year 2007, "EKA” came into existence, developed by Computational Research Laboratories (subsidiary of TATA sons) with technical assistance and hardware provided by Hewlett-Packard(HP). EKA was 4th fastest supercomputer in the world and number 1 in Asia having 172.61 TeraFLOPS (trillion floating point operations per second). But later on 16 September 2011, it was ranked at 58.
SAGA-220

Then Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has disclosed India’s fastest supercomputer built in the labs of Vikram Sarabhai Space Center, Thiruvananthapuram. This supercomputer was named SAGA-220 which is capable of a theoretical peak performance of 220 TeraFLOPS (trillion floating point operations per second). SAGA is now in 28th position in the world. If SAGA touches the 1000 TeraFLOPS peak performance it would immediately be positioned at 11th rank.

MAKERS OF SUPERCOMPUTERS IN INDIA are IBM leads in the number of super computers in the list with 6 systems, followed by HP with 5 systems, and SGI with 3 systems.
